
Our Mission
Under the policies adopted by the
Board of Trustees and the leadership of the Chancellor, the mission of YCCD Central
Services is to provide support services to the colleges. Central Services is responsible
for leadership in the following areas:
Educational services, development of resources,
research, new educational programs, Management Information Services, technology
development, comprehensive planning, administration of externally funded programs, and
support for existing educational programs.
Human Resources recruitment and records,
administration of bargaining contracts, staff development, staff diversity, employee
benefits, employee safety, risk management, employee wellness.
Fiscal services, accounting, purchasing,
warehousing/delivery, payroll, buildings and grounds maintenance, transportation,
security/fire protection, construction services, and legal and contract services.
